Are you ready to see a show?
In addition to being strong on the battlefield, Pokémon have many other skills, and some of them are even good at music. In the world of Pokemon, Pokemon are a part of every part of daily life, and some of them even make music to make people happy.
Obstagoon, Rillaboom, and Toxtricity show off their musical skills on and off the battlefield by playing in a Pokemon band. Jigglypuff, on the other hand, sings to put people to sleep. With these Pokemon on your team, no matter what happens, there will always be a song to keep you happy on your Pokemon trip.
Chiming In: Chimecho

Chimecho is a Psychic-type Pokemon that looks like a Japanese wind chime, which is why it is called the Wind Chime Pokemon. Its round head looks like the bell part of a wind chime, and its tail moves when the wind blows.
People know wind chimes for the soft music they make, and Chimecho sounds a lot like that. Several articles in the Pokedex say that Chimecho either rides on the wind or uses its “sucker” to hang from trees, making “ultrasonic cries” as it does so. Even though its cries are more dangerous than its real-life counterpart, they are labeled as “beautiful notes” that sound like its real-life counterpart.
Beautiful Birdsong: Altaria

Altaria is a Dragon and Flying-type Pokemon that is known for having a beautiful voice. This is why the Pokedex calls it a Humming Pokemon. Altaria’s singing voice is just as beautiful as it looks. In several games, it has been called a “beautiful soprano voice.”
Because of how nice it sounds, its humming “makes its listeners experience dreamy wonderment.” There are many people who love its singing, but Altaria can also use it in battle by learning moves like “Disarming Voice” and “Perish Song,” which are very powerful. Many people think that Altaria’s close link to humming comes from real songbirds and hummingbirds that make people feel the same way.
Dancing The Blues Away: Ludicolo

The Pokemon that look like kappas The carefree attitude of Ludicolo stretches to the way it hears music. The lily pad on Ludicolo’s head looks like a sombrero, and its fur is like a poncho, making it look like a mariachi performance.
The Pokedex entry for Ludicolo says that “if it hears festive music,” it will definitely start dancing. What a party animal! Besides being a fun quirk, this makes Ludicolo more energized, which helps him do better in fight.
Rocking Out: Obstagoon

As shown in its Pokedex record in Pokémon Shield, Obstagoon is a Dark and Normal-type Pokemon. It has a voice that can make its opponent frown. However, its voice can be used for other, more artistic things as well. Piers, the Gym Leader of Spikemouth, partners with an Obstagoon. Piers is a Gym Leader and a singer. You can see him putting on a show in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
In the same way, Obstagoon comes from the music industry, especially Gene Simmons of the band Kiss, because the markings on his face look a lot like Simmons’ signature make-up look. As part of the famous Maximizers band in the Galar region, along with Rillaboom and both an Amped and Low Key Toxtricity, Obstagoon can be found.
Sing You To Sleep: Jigglypuff

Jigglypuff is the first Pokemon singer. It is a cute pink Pokemon that can use its singing skills to knock out its enemies, giving it a chance to fight.
Since Pokémon Sun says that Jigglypuff can expand its stomach to make hypnotic melodies, its name, “Balloon Pokemon,” is directly related to its ability to make lullabies that put people to sleep. People in the world of Pokemon can even buy records of Jigglypuff’s lullabies if they have trouble falling asleep. Pokémon Ultra Moon says that a Jigglypuff’s voice can be different based on where it comes from, so not all of them sound the same.
The Chatterbox: Chatot

It’s not a secret that Chatot likes music because its whole shape is based on a note, with its head looking like an eighth note and its tail looking like a metronome pointer. In the same way that the parakeet can copy human speech, Chatot can do the same.
It’s the only Pokemon that can learn the move Chatter, which attacks with sound waves and might throw off the opponent. Because Chatot can sound like a person, it would have no trouble trying to make its own music by singing.
Delelelewoop: Kricketune

Kricketune is a Bug-type Pokemon that is famous for its crazy cry, which different Pokedex entries say it can use to show how it feels. Kricketune’s musical sense doesn’t end with its cry, though. Its round body has a design that looks like strings, making it look like an instrument.
Additionally, Kricketune looks like a conductor because its black wings look like the tails on the end of a suit jacket and its beard makes it look serious. Its blade-like arms would make it very easy for it to lead a group of musical Pokemon.
Singer Of The Sea: Primarina

Folklore says that mermaids and sirens can sing, and Primarina sounds just like the sea creatures it was based on. Primarina is the Soloist Pokemon, and its Pokedex description in Pokemon Sword says that it can “control its water balloons” with sound waves.
Primarina’s singing voice is said to be beautiful, and her dress is so classy that it’s easy to picture her singing on top of a rock in the ocean, like in “The Little Mermaid.” Primarina’s voice, on the other hand, is its main weapon in fight; it can use it to stun and then kill its enemies when they’re weak.
Skilled Drummer: Rillaboom

Rillaboom is the last form that the grass-type starting Pokemon Grookey can change into. Like Grookey and Thwacky, Rillaboom is a great drummer, and it plays duets with its unique tree stump drum set. It is said in Tunnel Rush that the Rillaboom with the best drumming skills is picked to be the group’s leader. This shows how important drumming is to this Pokemon species.
Rillaboom’s tree stump drum set gets bigger in its Gigantamax form, making it look like a forest. People all over the Galar region would be able to hear Rillaboom’s show if it happened while it was in its Gigantamax state.
Punk Rocker: Toxtricity

The Generation 8 Pokemon Toxtricity gets its look from punk styles, with an electric mohawk and spikes on its arms that look like bracelets. Toxtricity can change into either an Amped or a Low Key form. Its earlier form, Toxel, could change into either form at level 30, depending on its nature.
Form Amped Up Toxtricity’s Pokedex article says that it can make sounds like a guitar by strummed at the bumps on its chest, which gives it electricity that it uses in battle. That’s when its Toxtricity Amped and Low Key forms come together to make an electric guitar in the shape of a lightning bolt. It hits it on the ground during some moves, just like punk rock artists do at shows.
Desert Tunes: Maractus

This Pokemon looks like a cross between a maracas and a cactus, which is how it got its name. Maractus makes a noise that sounds like a maraca, but it’s not just for fun; it scares away bird Pokemon that are trying to eat its seeds. It really does more than one thing at once; it puts on a show while keeping itself safe from danger.
There are sounds of music coming from Maractus all over Unova’s Desert Resort. These sounds cut through the silence of the empty wastes. Even though this Pokemon seems grumpy, it’s always up for a party.
Born Performer: Meloetta

Meloetta, also known as the Melody Pokemon, made its debut in Generation Five. It was first seen in Unova at an event in Castelia City. Meloetta looks like the music it was inspired by; it has humanoid features that make it look like a singer, and a microphone headset is built into the side of its head.
Its hair looks like a sheet of music in both its Aria Forme and Pirouette Forme, and its arms and hands look like music notes. “Can control the feelings of those who hear it,” Pokémon Black says of Meloetta’s singing.
